Which among the two is like you
So rare, so precious
So unbidden in my wildest dreams
Such a relief after a deep and scathing thirst
So enriching after a life of poverty

In the posts of your mind

Deep in the folds of true love

Let the frenzy of our desires
Be one tempo
And let it continue until the
Birthing of a new day

In the air like the scent of jasmine
For you are like the beginning of a bloom
So full and magical
Enchanting yet biblical
Two becomes one as we breathe one life
Let us tell a story with the music of midnight
And secrets unfold with the
Increase of the belly
Like an offshoot of a planter
In a fertile soil
Let us watching the seedlings
Of our communing grow
As two becomes one
And the fusion of our souls is
Inexplicably granted like
A long awaited prayer
Come hither lover
Let the dew of love soften the
Vicissitudes of life
Let my arms tell you of
The unspoken treasures you seek
Let the fullness of flesh take away
The bleakness of life
